The Specialist, System Maintenance and Ops is responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment within the warehouse system, including parts purchasing. In this role, the Specialist must identify, troubleshoot, repair and provide solutions for problems that occur in Automation equipment and processes. This position also involves filling in for the Operations Supervisor. All applicants must be open to 1st and 2nd Shift positions, potentially starting at 3:30 PM-12 AM, with workdays from Monday through Friday and 1 Saturday per month.

Responsibilities
? Schedule & conduct preventive maintenance, be alert for issues or conditions that may cause system difficulties.

? Generate, complete work orders, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed.

? Utilize menu driven software, troubleshoot system issues.
,
? Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
,
? Record & communicate system events that affect production, regularly monitor the palletizers to ensure a continuous operation.
,
? Monitor the case conveyor going into the palletizers to ensure correct product specifications before it enters the palletizer.
,
? Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need to be addressed.
,
? Respond to sequence check alarms, or any other system stoppage, and ensure that sequencing is accurately maintained as product flows through the conveyor system.

? Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times while adhering to company policies & procedures.

Requirements
? High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
,
? 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required.
,
? Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
,
? Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
,
? Basic proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
,
? Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.
,
? Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs.
