About the position
The Sr. Manager, Strategic Insights plays a pivotal role in the Strategic Insights team at Disney, focusing on consumer behavior analytics to identify growth opportunities across various segments of the company. This position involves conducting critical research, including global tracking and ad hoc studies, to support strategic initiatives across multiple lines of business. The role requires strong data integration and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and address business challenges.
Responsibilities
• Drive the primary study focusing on understanding customers across all entertainment categories, both domestically and internationally.

• Lead custom insights and research projects that support high-profile strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with insights and finance teams to track changes in entertainment behavior and Disney’s performance across key sectors.

• Conduct analyses to answer key business questions from Executive Leadership, ensuring consumer insights are integrated into modeling and brand strategies.

• Guide the work of one direct report and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
• 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic consulting, market research, business analytics, or related fields.

• Demonstrated ability to influence others through data-driven storytelling and collaboration.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and integrate insights from multiple data sources.

• Exceptional project management skills with a strong sense of accountability.

• Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research and statistical techniques globally.
