STRTP Consultant (Flexible, Remote, 1099 Contract)

We are actively seeking experienced STRTP Consultants to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to support behavioral health compliance, licensing, and quality improvement in STRTPs, helping providers meet Californias complex regulatory standards for childrens residential care.
Position Overview: As an STRTP Consultant with MVP, you will be an essential resource in guiding STRTP providers through licensing requirements, regulatory compliance, and program enhancement. Your role includes policy development, documentation, and consulting to ensure compliance with Californias Interim Licensing Standards and Community Care Licensing Regulations. This remote position offers you the flexibility to create your own schedule while engaging in high-impact work to support STRTP providers statewide.
Key Responsibilities:
Licensing and Documentation Support: Prepare and author Plan of Operations, Program Statements, and Mental Health Program Applications that meet current compliance standards for California STRTPs.
Compliance and Regulatory Consulting: Advise clients on California CCL and Interim Licensing Standards to ensure program documentation and operational practices are up to regulatory standards.
Quality Improvement and Assurance: Provide quality improvement (QI) and quality assurance (QA) consultation to clients, identifying opportunities to enhance program quality and regulatory compliance.
Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and offer support to STRTP leadership, preparing them for site surveys, audits, and ongoing compliance updates.
Flexible Project Management: Work collaboratively with MVPs consulting team while managing your own projects, ensuring timely deliverables and responsive communication with clients.
Qualifications:
STRTP-Specific Experience: Minimum of 3 years in quality improvement, quality assurance, or compliance roles within an STRTP, with a focus on regulatory and licensing adherence.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Community Care Licensing (CCL) regulations, Californias Interim Licensing Standards, and STRTP-specific compliance requirements.
Documentation Expertise: Experience writing comprehensive Plans of Operations, Program Statements, and Mental Health Program Applications for STRTPs.
Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate and train effectively on compliance strategies and best practices.
