ClubLabs is the digital acceleration team for Automobile Club of Southern California, also known as AAA — we are the proving ground for ideas that exceed our members’ expectations. This position is hybrid, and you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Costa Mesa, CA and Los Angeles, CA to attend meetings and team collaborations as needed. This position will be headquartered in Costa Mesa, CA.

What we are looking for:

The Program Delivery Manager oversees multiple major initiatives related to bringing technology and innovations to our Digital platform, while also focusing on internal processes to improve visibility and optimize productivity, quality and pace. YouÂ’ll be providing guidance and governance on the delivery lifecycle for product management, software development, QA and configuration management and be responsible for reporting on delivery status of key initiatives to stakeholders. This role requires moderate experience with agile practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP) or Kanban, as well as familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Slack and Miro. An ideal candidate would be proactive and independent with prior experience as a business analyst, developer, product owner, project lead or QA and can turn large complex problems into solutions.

What youÂ’ll be doing:
• Maintain and govern guidelines and procedures for the Software Product Delivery Lifecycle.
• Promote and champion the adoption of Extreme Programming (XP) and mentor peers and teams on best practices.
• Track the progress of key major initiatives and provide regular status updates to stakeholders to maintain transparency on project health, risks and issues.
• Use data metrics and analytics to build dashboards to monitor digital delivery success and identify areas for continuous process improvement.
• Use software such as Jira to streamline processes that help maximize department performance and outcomes.
• Effectively communicate with peers, stakeholders and IT counterparts.
• Manage overall delivery of new products and technologies to solve core member service needs on the digital channel. This may include evaluating strategies and new technologies, initiating proof of concept, developing/refining scope, developing processes to implement and test proposed new solutions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

What youÂ’ll need:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably related to Business, Analytics, or Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in key software delivery functions (Development, QA, Product Management, Project Management).
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and is adept at using Agile practices (XP, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Slack, Miro) for delivery.
• Experience managing or coordinating mid-size to large programs with cross-functional teams.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to connect with both business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.

• Capacity to understand and analyze complex systems and workflows with the ability to problem-solve.
• Experience with Jira administration and automation.
• Knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry and experience with insurance systems is a plus.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$126,300.00 – $168,400.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
