Job Description of Tractor Trailer Operator:
Looking for a flexible part-time job that allows you to have a positive impact on UPS operations? Be a part-time Feeder Driver. You’ll operate a tractor trailer between UPS locations or to customers, making sure that deliveries are completed in a timely and safe manner.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Tractor Trailer Operator:
• Handle a commercial vehicle and shuttle packages and freight to UPS facilities or recipients using designated paths.
• Be available to work on weekdays, weekends, and/or evenings when necessary.
• Follow all rules set forth by the DOT and the firm, which mandates meeting the criteria in the DOT medical checkup.
• It is a requirement for UPS employees to comply with the outfit codes established by the company and wear the provided attire.
• Prove your consistency, liability, and zeal for driving a commercial vehicle.

Qualifications and Experience of Tractor Trailer Operator:
• It is mandatory for a driver to have an authentic Class A CDL (commercial driver’s license) in their state of residency.
• Doubles and triples endorsement could be necessary depending on the state in which you operate.
• Possessing the aptitude to pass the DOT physical assessment.
• Holding oneself accountable for their actions and showing a sense of duty.
• A deep-seated enthusiasm for operating trucks and ensuring outstanding quality of service.
