What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Coach and mentor staff on law, policy, and procedures for issue resolution
– Provide technical support on claims and adjudication issues
– Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement new approaches
– Review adjudication decisions to ensure compliance with regulations
– Conduct call monitoring and quality reviews for staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Eight years of professional unemployment insurance claims processing and adjudication experience
– One year of experience as a Benefits Specialist 1 or 2
– Education equivalences: Associate Degree = 2 years, Bachelor Degree = 4 years, Masters or Higher = 5 years
– Applicable degrees in Social Science, Public or Business Administration, or related field
– Must pass an Unemployment Insurance (UI) Claim & Benefit Information Review
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
– Knowledge of web-based programs and Microsoft Office
– Strong communication, empathy, and technology skills
