The Payment Analyst position at Verizon is an entry-level opportunity designed for students from the University of Central Florida. Responsibilities
? Provide support for retail sales and payment transactions in Verizon’s stores.

? Daily balancing of payments tendered and communication with store employees to resolve discrepancies.

? Conduct subledger reconciliation of point-of-sale transactions to billing systems and bank accounts.

? Perform bank account reconciliation for payment deposits across Verizon.

? Handle payment investigations and refund requests from customers using various workflow tools.

? Conduct payment research for posting payments to consumer and business accounts.

Requirements
? Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Business IT, Statistics, Math, or a related major with an expected completion date between December 2024 and June 2025.
