Responsibilities
– Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
– Develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs
– Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and behavioral therapy
– Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
– Stay current on best practices in mental health treatment through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
– State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist
– Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred
– Proficiency in psychopharmacology and clinical research is a plus
– Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective therapy sessions
– Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively
