Univar is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Web Chat Assistant** to join our team in a part-time capacity. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our customers through online chat, assisting them with inquiries, concerns, and product information. • *Key Responsibilities:**
– Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries through web chat, delivering high-quality service and support.
– Assist customers with product information, order status, and troubleshooting issues, ensuring a seamless experience.
– Utilize internal databases and resources to research and provide accurate answers to customer queries.
– Collaborate with team members and management to improve chat processes and enhance customer experience.
– Document customer interactions and feedback accurately within the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
– Identify common customer concerns and provide feedback to management to contribute to the ongoing improvement of products and services.
– Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all customer interactions, representing UnivarÂ’s values and commitment to excellence.
– Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
– Manage time efficiently to meet workloads and deadlines, demonstrating resourcefulness and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• *Requirements:**
– High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
– A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a web chat environment.
– Strong research skills with the ability to find relevant information quickly and effectively.
– Demonstrated leadership qualities through previous work or volunteer experience.
– Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
– A resourceful mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
– Resilience to handle challenging customer interactions while maintaining professionalism and composure.
– Familiarity with CRM software and various digital communication tools is preferred.
– Basic knowledge of web technologies and an eagerness to learn about our industry and products.
